Marriage of the Arts DTS

15.09.2020 – 26.03.2021

Veranstalter: JMEM Nürnberg

Program Update: The Marriage of the Arts Discipleship Training School will not take place in 2020, please check out our DTS Intensive instead! The Marriage of the Arts Discipleship Training School (MOTA DTS) is an opportunity for artists to step into the Great Commission in a new way. Participants will create art that is informed by God's Word in regards to the "least among these,” intern for ongoing ministries, and help pioneer new ministries while preparing for and serving on outreach.

Lecture Phase: A 12-week communal gathering around one purpose: growing with God. We invite both international and local speakers, pastors, and missionaries to share into our lives as we grow together. Marriage of the Arts is not an arts and technique school, rather a place for students to learn to commune with God and others through arts and creativity.

Art Tracks are a platform for growing in your faith in the context of your identity as an artist. The time will not be focused on teaching you skills and techniques but rather discovering God's calling and your potential as an artist. It's an opportunity to grow in your art-form and learn how you can use your creativity and passion for the glory of God.

Outreach Phase: Out of the overflow we go. Here we take what we’ve learned about God and go share it with the nations. An 10-13 week outreach to various peoples, tribes, nations, or languages, bringing the Gospel of God’s Kingdom in creative ways.

Come closer to him as he reveals the dreams and plans he has for your life. Discipleship does not happen by only sitting in a classroom or behind a desk. Discipleship is an action. It happens by walking with Jesus and following him wherever he leads.
