Organised by: YWAM Nuremberg
The Disciple Training School Intensive is an 11-week communal missions school with one purpose: To grow with Him, to go into all the nations sharing the Good News that brings hope, healing, and changes the world.
In the wake of the COVID-19 world we live in, we re-shaped the traditional DTS program into a 3-month form. The DTS Intensive is a a modified version of a classic YWAM DTS. We have condensed aspects from outreach phase & lecture phase into one 11-week intensive.
The 2 programs are structured differently but both have the same purpose: to grow in relationship with God while going into the nations sharing the Good News of Jesus that brings hope and healing, and changes the world! Very simply put, we want to know God and make God known.
Both the Fall DTS and the DTS Intensive begin on October 4th. In these first months together, the whole DTS Intensive and the first half of the Fall DTS, will be in Nuremberg, Germany. We’ll spend our days together living, learning and reaching out as a community.
All communal prayer times, worship times, personal processing, and small groups will happen with YWAM staff and other DTS participants. Each week will have new teaching content from YWAM staff and leaders, local pastors, and missionaries serving in the nations. And each week we’ll also reach out right in Nuremberg as well as to the nations through some really neat online outreach opportunities. By combining input and outreach in every week, we’ll have opportunities for immediate practical application of the content we are learning.
Now here’s where the 2 programs differ:
In December the Fall DTS will head out on an international outreach. A few days after the Fall DTS heads out, the DTS Intensive will end. The DTS Intensive is shorter than the Fall DTS. If after one DTS Intensive you decide you want to keep going, you are welcome to join us for a second DTS Intensive and/or a summer outreach trip.
